Paraeducator

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to students under the direction of the classroom teacher.

• Assist with classroom management, preparation of materials, and supervision of students.

• Offer one-on-one or small-group support to students needing additional help.

• Promote a safe, respectful, and Christ-honoring classroom culture.

• Support students with varying academic and behavioral needs in alignment with their learning goals.

• Help maintain classroom organization and assist with transitions between activities.

• Supervise students during non-instructional times, such as recess, lunch, or chapel.

• Encourage students in their spiritual growth, modeling Christlike character in word and action.

• Collaborate with staff to ensure a supportive and united approach to student care.

• Respect confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries with students and families.

Qualifications:

• A heart for children and a commitment to Christian education.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or paraeducator certification preferred.

• Experience working with children in educational or ministry settings is highly desirable.

• Ability to take direction, work as a team, and communicate clearly and warmly.

• Alignment with TTCS’s statement of faith and commitment to biblical integration in all aspects of the school.

Spiritual Expectations:

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a growing Christian faith.

• Regular participation in a Bible-believing church.

• Willingness to pray with and for students as appropriate.

• Consistent lifestyle that reflects biblical values and a heart for ministry.
